ERIC ELWOOD is fuming Connacht are facing into another Magners League game on Thursday, just five days after completing a double of Irish derbies against Munster and Leinster.

Speaking of his team's trip to take on Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade, Elwood commented: “It's a nice handy number to have our third game in 11 days this Thursday; we'll probably get the boat over or whatever, but it’s a bit ridiculous and I’m getting fed up trying to make excuses.

“Three games in that time with the weakest squad in the league and the smallest resources is a big ask. I’m getting fed up preaching this all the time but it seems as if it’s easy to drag us across the water. Why couldn't they have a derby match?
