Flannery awaiting prognosis on latest injury

The Ireland hooker, who has battled hamstring and calf problems for the best part of 16 months, was helped from the field in the last minute of Munster’s 35-10 victory over Ulster on Saturday night.

He had come on as a 54th-minute substitute for just his eighth Munster appearance of the last two seasons and his first taste of the action since October, when a return from a left calf muscle problem ended after a 23-minute substitute appearance in the Heineken Cup home tie with Toulon.
