Reds await ban details

MUNSTER are still waiting for the written explanation behind Paul O’Connell’s four-week suspension.

The province are desperate to give their fit-again captain game time ahead of the Heineken Cup round five trip to Toulon on the weekend of January 15 following his long-term absence through injury.

However, they will not consider appealing the ban until they have read the full verdict from Thursday’s independent ERC disciplinary hearing.
