Leamy plays down talk of bad blood

COOL heads. That’s what needed for Munster to negotiate a potentially electric afternoon at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, says Denis Leamy.

Leamy plays down talk of bad blood

The Irish province will travel to Swansea tomorrow, knowing an away victory in south Wales at the weekend will plant one boot firmly in the Heineken Cup quarter-final draw with two matches of Pool Three still to play, and at the same time all but end the Ospreys’ interest in this season’s European campaign.

Yet after an intense and physical encounter between the two sides at Thomond Park last Sunday, won 23-16 by Munster but marred by the second-half sending off for foul play by Paul O’Connell, Leamy is guarding against a loss of composure in what is sure to be an equally passionate encounter in front of the Ospreys’ biggest crowd of the season.
