CLERMONT AUVERGNE coach Vern Cotter has teed up a tasty return leg in the Aviva Stadium next Saturday by accusing Leinster of showing his side a lack of respect at the Stade Marcel Michelin.

That assertion came as something of a surprise after a game that appeared to be played in the best of spirits between two sides re-acquainting themselves after last April’s European quarter-final.

“Some of our players felt that sometimes, almost … there was a lack of respect,” said Cotter. “I think there was slowing the ball down and other tactics in place. We’ll be asking questions before the next game, how it’s going to be refereed. We will try and stick to our principles of playing,
