Johnson: World Cup still a long way away

Martin Johnson is delighted with England’s progress this autumn and is excited by their potential if they continue to develop.

England won just two of their four matches last month but the manner of their 35-18 victory over Australia was hugely encouraging.

The series ended with defeat to South Africa, who were fired up by their loss to Scotland the previous week, but England now head into the Six Nations with a real chance of winning their first title since 2003, with the World Cup taking place just six months later.
