Barnes pays tribute to ‘special’ Munster fans

AUSTRALIA were blown away by the incredible atmosphere at Thomond Park last night with vanquished skipper Berrick Barnes hailing the home supporters for their role in Munster ‘s victory.

As the Wallabies head south to Florence today, Barnes had this one poignant parting shot for Munster ‘s famous 16th man — “You’re very special.”

“If Munster can attract 20,000 people to a match in conditions like that, then they must be a very special team,” said Barnes.
