Injury concerns over Buckley and Kearney

TONY BUCKLEY and Rob Kearney are the chief injury worries for Ireland ahead of Saturday’s autumn international with Samoa at the Aviva Stadium.

Injury concerns over Buckley and Kearney

Buckley (hip) and Kearney (knee) were replaced in the second half of Saturday’s defeat to South Africa by Tom Court and Keith Earls respectively. Both appear to be fighting against time to be cleared for selection. A further update on their progress will be made this morning.

Coach Declan Kidney has also added hooker Damien Varley to the 30 man squad that was in camp last week and further additions will also be confirmed by management today.
