BRIAN O’DRISCOLL has urged his Ireland team-mates to immediately begin the process of establishing the new Aviva Stadium as a fortress.

Ireland make their debut at the new-look Lansdowne Road against South Africa today following a €400m redevelopment of Test rugby’s oldest ground.

O’Driscoll admitted that it is the team’s responsibility to make the Aviva Stadium as intimidating an arena as possible seeing as though opponents will only appreciate the quality of the facility.
