Clubs hoping IRFU alter ticket stance
With Ireland’s opening autumn international at the Aviva Stadium set to kick off in six days as world champions South Africa visit the new showpiece arena on Lansdowne Road, there is serious disquiet around the country over the IRFU’s demand for payment in full from clubs for their ticket allocations within three days of each match.
Failure to comply will mean the clubs could be stripped of their future ticket allocation for Six Nations matches in the spring.
