Ulster say Best is set for speedy recovery

ULSTER yesterday played down fears that Rory Best could miss Ireland’s autumn international series after a weekend injury scare.

The Ulster skipper failed to finish the Magners League clash with the Ospreys at Ravenhill due to neck complaint leading to fears that he had aggravated the serious disc problem which ruled him out of the game for six months last season.

However, it was confirmed that the problem was a deep-seated, soft-tissue injury that caused the discomfort and that Best will make a speedy recovery.
