Dwyer says refs are favouring All Blacks

CLAIMS by South African coach Peter de Villiers that the All Blacks are receiving favourable treatment from referees have been backed by former Australian coach Bob Dwyer.

As the two teams head into another Tri-Nations confrontation in Johannesburg tomorrow — with New Zealand needing just a losing bonus point to clinch the title — Dwyer’s comments are set to spark off another round of verbals between the two rivals and heap pressure on Welsh referee Nigel Owens.

De Villiers claimed after his side’s back-to-back losses that the All Blacks were receiving favourable treatment from whistleblowers. Most dismissed his claims as sour grapes but it appears he now has the stats to back up that statement.
