Injured Muldoon out until October
The 27-year old has had surgery in New Zealand and is due home later this week but Connacht have resigned themselves to the fact they will not have their leader for the opening games of the new season.
“It is a serious fracture and the doctors are saying it will take around three months to heal and another month after that before he can go into a match situation,” said Connacht manager Tim Allnutt.
