Award winner Bowe thanks peers for ‘huge honour’

The 26-year-old Monaghan man has been in prolific try-scoring form for both club and country this season and was voted the 2010 Six Nations Player of the Championship after scoring three tries in five games, including a brace in the dramatic 20-16 win at Twickenham.

“It’s a huge honour to receive this award,” Bowe said after beating off competition from Leinster No.8 Jamie Heaslip and Munster centre Keith Earls to claim the award for the second time in three seasons.
