Horan says age not a factor in defeat

MARCUS HORAN struggled to explain how Munster imploded in the second-half of yesterday’s Heineken Cup semi-final defeat to Biarritz in San Sebastian.

But the vastly experienced international prop was certain of one thing – dismissing suggestions the province are on the wane due to an ageing profile.

“We’re all getting older,” he agreed, “but I think a lot of us are playing some great rugby at the moment.
