Dubarry Park set to host AIL decider

ATHLONE’S Dubarry Park has been chosen to host the final of the All-Ireland League on Saturday, May 8.

The dates for the finals of the various divisions of the AIB League were confirmed yesterday. Dubarry Park which has been home to the AIB Cup for the past few seasons. The kick-off time for the final is yet to be decided.

The semi finals in all three divisions take place this weekend — Saturday April 17.

Cork Constitution will host a Cork derby when they play Dolphin for a place in the final.

The other semi-final features the only Leinster side to win the AIB League, St Mary’s College. They will play host to Division 1B winners Old Belvedere on Saturday which will be televised live on RTÉ from 2.05pm.

The Division Two and Three finals will take place in Anglesea Road, home of Old Belvedere, on the evening of Friday May 7. Lansdowne are at home to DLSP in the first semi-final in Division Two while Bruff host Terenure in the other play-off.

In Division Three, the free flowing Queens are at home to Banbridge while Midleton host Nenagh Ormond.
