Ireland centre D’Arcy to learn injury fate today

GORDON D’ARCY will learn this afternoon if he start tomorrow’s Six Nations clash with Scotland.

The Wexford man sustained deep bruising above the left knee during the victory over Wales last weekend which put his participation in the final game at Croke Park in doubt.

But the centre has responded well to intensive treatment since the weekend and took a full part in training yesterday. He will be monitored by medical staff to discover if he suffers any reaction to the injury. A decision will be made on his fitness following the final run out in Croke Park today.
