SIMON EASTERBY has been ruled out of the remainder of the Scarlets’ Heineken Cup campaign.

The former Irish international flanker fractured a finger in the 21-14 Welsh derby defeat to the Ospreys on St Stephen’s Day and will be out for five weeks.

Easterby, 34, will miss the ties with London Irish at Parc y Scarlets on January 17 and the trip to France to face Brive a week later.
