Munster suffer double injury blow

MUNSTER have been dealt another double blow with the news that Jerry Flannery, right, and Barry Murphy are out of action, possibly for up to 10 weeks.

Flannery will miss Munster’s upcoming Heineken Cup games and will also be ruled out of Ireland’s initial Grand Slam Six Nations ties.

He will be operated on today to sort out an Achilles tendon problem and may be out until the end of February.
