O’Sullivan’s USA to face Ireland in World Cup

EDDIE O’SULLIVAN’S USA will face Ireland in the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.

The American’s secured their passage to the finals with a 54-28 aggregate victory over Uruguay yesterday morning.

O’Sullivan’s side won the second leg 27-6 in Florida with tries from captain Todd Clever (2), flanker Louis Stanfill and wing Kevin Swiryn. The Eagles will play in Pool C in New Zealand, alongside Sullivan’s former charges Ireland, Australia, Italy and another European qualifier.
