Williams ready for fiery Irish welcome

FORMER Munster forwards coach Jim Williams, now in the same role with Australia, comes face-to-face with some of his former pupils when the tourists face Ireland at Croke Park tomorrow.

It’s been over a year since he left these shores but he will have been stressing to his new charges that the recent victory over England won’t strike fear into Irish hearts today.

Wallaby coach Robbie Deans claimed Ireland were inferior to England ahead of the Twickenham game but may have been just engaging in a bit of psychological warfare.
