McGahan reveals concerns for Flannery as injury jinx returns

MUNSTER coach Tony McGahan admits he has concerns for Jerry Flannery’s well-being after the hooker’s injury problems emerged once again to rule him out of tomorrow’s Heineken Cup encounter with Treviso at Thomond Park.

McGahan could only offer words of sympathy to the unfortunate Flannery, who is out for around four weeks after tearing a calf muscle.

“It is a big blow to lose Jerry; he has worked very hard to get back into play after missing a significant part of the opening bit of the season.
