THE IRFU has appointed Eanna Falvey as the new doctor to the Ireland team.

Dr Falvey brings a specialist medical training to the position along with a wealth of experience in sports medicine, specifically in rugby, having worked at the highest level of the game.

A medical graduate of UCC, Dr Falvey served as Munster Rugby team doctor between 2003 and 2007.
