O’Driscoll praise for fruity Johnson

IRISH captain Brian O’Driscoll left the media corps in hysterical laughter with a witty retort during yesterday’s press conference.

When asked to describe English coach Martin Johnson with whom he toured Australia with the Lions in 2001 he responded: “Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad”.

Pressed to explain the remark, O’Driscoll conceded Johnson “wants to win everywhere he goes, every time he’s involved.
