Garda and PSNI students to make history

HISTORY will be made on Friday night when Garda and PSNI students are included in the Irish Colleges squad to face their English counterparts at Derry RFC (7.30pm).

An spokesman for the Irish Colleges Rugby Union said: “This event would not have happened especially in Derry not too long ago. It was the Irish Colleges who this time two years ago also brought the Combined UK Services to play Rugby in Dublin despite protestations and it went off peacefully.”
