Williams: wonderful team will come out of this

ULSTER coach Matt Williams hopes Saturday night’s shock victory over Munster could mark a turning point for his side.

The Northerners have failed to record a win in the Heineken Cup and had managed just one victory in the Magners League — at home to Edinburgh. The win takes Ulster above Connacht and the Dragons in the league basement.

“Up to now,” said Williams, “it has all been about what might have been; coming close but not being quite good enough.
