Resourceful Reds’ fans eye tickets

MUNSTER RUGBY fans’ famous resourcefulness in sourcing tickets has been taken to new heights ahead of the Heineken Cup semi-final later this month against Saracens at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

The English club’s telephone lines were inundated with calls from Ireland looking for tickets all last week, but Munster fans have also taken to the internet to get their hands on tickets.

Last Monday over 300 new people registered on www.saracens.com, an increase driven by ‘new’ Irish fans. Saracens staff grew suspicious when a Derry native purchased a Sarrie’s Squad U-12s membership; it emerged later that the would-be child star is 57 years old.
