THREE days after the sacking of Kingsholm, Munster returned to training at the University of Limerick yesterday preparing “in business-like fashion”, according to coach Declan Kidney for the Magners League Super Saturday clash with Leinster at the RDS.

Second-placed Munster need a win against the table-toppers to keep their chances of a possible Magners League/Heineken Cup double alive, and the head coach may be tempted to rotate his squad given the energies that were expended in the win over Gloucester at the weekend.

Kidney paid tribute to Leinster’s consistency in the league, adding that’ll it’ll take something special from his men to overturn Cheika’s side, one which has already toppled Munster in Musgrave Park at the beginning of December.
