Hodgson says Exiles ‘can beat any team’

ENGLAND scrum-half Paul Hodgson believes London Irish have developed a taste for centre stage that is fuelling their surprise Heineken Cup assault.

The Exiles eased into the semi-finals after dismantling big-spending Perpignan 20-9 in a comprehensive victory at the Madejski Stadium.

It is the first time Irish have participated in the knockout stages of the Heineken Cup but they have established a liking for pressure-cooker situations that is serving them well.
