O’Connell recalls injury nightmare

THERE are few more committed sportsmen than Paul O’Connell.

So you can only imagine his frustration as a nagging disc injury ruled him out of rugby for six months.

At last, he is back in the fold with Munster and Ireland and hopes to lend his weight to the Irish cause at Croke Park on Saturday when winning his 51st cap in place of provincial colleague Mick O’Driscoll.
