Let’s not get carried away, says Reddan

HAVING spent over four months claiming things weren’t as glum as everyone feared, the Irish camp now finds itself attempting to keep a lid on escalating expectations after events in Paris at the weekend.

Such was the impression Eoin Reddan gave yesterday anyway, the Irish scrumhalf pointing out that things are never as bad as they seem, but never quite as good either.

“It’s a challenge,” said the Wasps player on how difficult it is to concentrate on the nuts and bolts when everyone is in such a flap about the bigger picture.
