TRIBUTES have been paid to Munster coach Jim Williams who is to leave Munster for a top coaching job with the Wallabies at the end of the season.

Williams has returned from Down Under after agreeing terms with the Australian Rugby Union that will see him work alongside new head coach Robbie Deans.

While everyone associated with the province will wish Williams well in a new career, there will be a huge sense of loss as articulated by the Munster chief executive Garrett Fitzgerald, coach Declan Kidney and senior player Mick O’Driscoll.
