Six Nations heartbreak for Elvis

INJURY-PRONE French back row Elvis Vermeulen will miss the rest of the Six Nations Championship with a broken rib.

The 28-year-old nine-times capped Clermont star — who missed the World Cup because of a herniated disc injury — has been replaced by the uncapped Louis Picamoles of Montpellier.

The call-up is an early birthday present for Picamoles, who is 22 today, and he will join up with two other Montpellier tyros, forward Fulgence Ouedraogo (21) and fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc, also 21.
