Wallabies in move to lure back Munster assistant coach

MUNSTER assistant coach Jim Williams was last night linked with a bid to return to Australia as assistant coach to new Wallaby coach Robbie Deans.

Williams, a former Wallaby back row, blazed a trail with Munster, whom he captained many times before helping coach them to Heineken Cup success. Yesterday he officially informed the province that he had been approached by the ARU.

But, having already turned down several lucrative overseas offers, it is far from clear whether Williams, who is settled with a young family in Cork, is willing to head back of Oz.
