Cheika could give Sexton a start

NO matter what transpires this week, Jonathan Sexton has already enjoyed a breakthrough year, but the young Dubliner’s progress could snowball even further tomorrow and he wouldn’t even have to get his boots dirty.

Still just 22 years of age, the out-half has had a hand in 14 of Leinster’s games this season thanks to Felipe Contepomi’s earlier commitments in France. His only Heineken Cup involvement however, was a two-minute cameo away to Edinburgh last month.

That may yet change overnight when Michael Cheika names his starting 15 to play Toulouse in the Pool Six encounter at the RDS.
