Horgan could be out for six weeks

SHANE HORGAN seems certain to miss Leinster’s remaining Heineken Cup games next month and is in danger of being ruled out of Ireland’s opening Six Nations game against Italy on February 2.

Horgan cracked ribs after 25 minutes of Leinster’s disastrous Heineken Cup defeat to Edinburgh at Murrayfield on Saturday and a medical report suggests he will not play for six weeks.
