NEW MUNSTER signing Dougie Howlett put his troubles behind him as he married partner Monique Everard in Auckland at the weekend.

Howlett tied the knot with his fiancee amid high security on Puketutu Island in Manukau Harbour.

The Kelliher Estate ceremony for the former cheerleader and 29-year-old Howlett was attended by friends and family, including All Black stars Daniel Braid, Sione Lauaki and Jerome Kaino.
