Injury woes mount for demoralised Leinster

LEINSTER have been dealt a double injury blow in the wake of their demoralising Heineken Cup defeat by Toulouse on Sunday night.

Chris Whitaker, the first choice scrum half, has been ruled out for at least three months after breaking his ankle, while Girvan Dempsey will be sidelined for four or more weeks after sustaining ankle ligament damage.

The injury to Dempsey could be even more serious as he had to face a scan in Dublin following his arrival back in the country last night.
