White urged to stay on to help Boks slay Lions

FORMER Springbok John Allan has urged South Africa’s World Cup-winning coach Jake White to stay in his role and create history.

The Springboks won the World Cup with a 15-6 win over England in Paris earlier this month and it has yet to be revealed whether White will stay in position after his contract expires at the end of the year.

He has already made noises about taking up a similar role with England if current coach Brian Ashton leaves, but Allan insists he should continue his work with the world champions.
