O’Driscoll talks up Reddan’s strengths

BRIAN O’Driscoll was one of many Leinster players left in Eoin Reddan’s wake as he ran in two tries for Wasps in last season’s Heineken Cup quarter-final.

Although Peter Stringer has been a member of so many Irish sides, it is hardly surprising that the Irish captain should now welcome the 26-year-old Limerick man’s inclusion in the team to face France on Friday night.

Said O’Driscoll: “In fairness to Eoin Reddan, his opportunity has come. He’s trained well throughout, always remained very focused; he’s a good worker, a good talker and he’s playing with confidence having come off a successful season with Wasps. So it’s as good a time as any to give the guy a chance.
