O’Driscoll fit for Georgia clash

BRIAN O’DRISCOLL hyper extended his right elbow in the latter stages of the game against Namibia, but the injury has settled down overnight and following treatment.

The injury will not rule him out of selection for the game against Georgia on Saturday.

Ronan O’Gara bruised his left foot in the game, but this has also improved over the last 24 hours and he is no longer an injury concern. He is expected to take part in training tomorrow.

Marcus Horan received a knock to his upper back during the Namibia game and has some bruising in this area. He will not take part in training tomorrow, but is expected to be available for the weekend’s game.

Shane Horgan has successfully completed a thorough rehabilitation programme and will take a full part in training this week.

He should be available for selection this weekend.

The Ireland team were on a down day with no training, but had a pool recovery session in the team hotel.

The team to Play Georgia will be announced tomorrow afternoon at 3.30pm (local time).
