MUNSTER’S new sales and marketing manager starts his new job in a couple of weeks- As Michael Moynihan found out, his aim is to help them become the ‘best rugby club in the world’.

GLYN BILLINGHURST had been a rugby fan ever since playing for the under-sevens at London Welsh. A career in marketing with Unilever had brought him to Bristol for a few years, and while there he became aware of an upcoming game in nearby Gloucester.

“The first time I really came across Munster was those Gloucester games,” says Billinghurst. “That was where I saw the passion and support from the fans — and the level of rugby, which was phenomenal.”
