ULSTER rugby bosses have found no evidence of alleged racial abuse by their fans towards a visiting player during a Magners League game against Newport Gwent Dragons at Ravenhill earlier this month.

However Ulster officials admitted: that their supporters “do have chants that could be misheard” and vowed they would increase their level of stewarding even though it was already above the recommended level.

The Dragons released a statement shortly after the match on February 16th claiming an alleged outbreak of racial abuse towards Aled Brew by a small section of Ulster supporters.
