Boss looks to recover from French reversal

IRELAND are trying to look ahead to Saturday week in the wake of last Sunday’s shattering defeat by France, but new scrum-half Isaac Boss has admitted that the loss was a heartbreaking one for the squad.

“I thought we played the last 20 minutes quite well, and losing with two minutes was gutting,” said Boss.

“We’d had the rub of the green and it looked to be going our way, then two phases later they’re at the other end of the field, and we didn’t get a chance to reply to that. That’s the frustrating bit, it’s probably the worst way to lose.
