Thomas hearing goes ahead

GARETH Thomas’disciplinary hearing is scheduled to go ahead this morning as planned despite Trevor Brennan’s successful legal bid for a temporary injunction.

The Toulouse players were both due in Dublin to answer misconduct complaints emanating from the controversial Heineken Cup clash with Ulster on January 21.

Thomas, however, is still expected in Dublin to face the panel and answer accusations he engaged in “aggressive” and “offensive” behaviour towards Ulster supporters.
