Ashton hit by wing dilemma

ENGLAND head coach Brian Ashton faces a potential wing crisis ahead of next weekend’s opening Six Nations clash with Scotland after Jason Robinson, Mark Cueto and Paul Sackey were ruled out of this week’s Twickenham training camp.

The injured trio reported for duty but were sent back to their clubs after being assessed by the England medical team.

Ashton said: “I have decided Jason, Mark and Paul should all continue their rehab and recovery programmes with their clubs. Our medical team will be working closely with the club medics and I will be kept fully informed of their progress.”
