Tipperary Races turn track red

TIPPERARY RACES are getting behind their provincial team by offering free admission to all Munster fans who wear their jersey to the races on Thursday.

“Everyone is talking about Munster and their quest for their grail and we felt that we should start off the weekend early for their loyal fans. We hope that as many supporters will come to the races and paint the track red,” said racecourse manager Peter Roe.

The racing should provide plenty of competitive action with the feature race being the www.tipperaryraces.ie Hurdle. This race has attracted a number of winners including Baileysunice a winner at Tipperary in April and other winners include Josephine Cullen, and Artiste Bay.

The Sanglamore @ Ballykisteen Stud bumper has attracted 35 entries headed by Willie Mullins Snowy Morning and Cull Mhuine form the Cavan Stables of Shane Donohoe.

The remaining national hunt races have proved very popular with trainers with 184 entered in the maiden hurdle and a further 192 in the handicap hurdle.
