Clon battle back to end on a high note

CLONAKILTY, the champions and top four winners, will be reacquainted with Suttonians in Division Two of the AIB League next season, but for now, they can bask in the bragging rights.

Bruff and the north county Dublin side were the only teams to defeat Clonakilty on their triumphant march to the third division title, but the west Cork side had the last laugh on both.

They defeated Bruff in the Top Four semi-final and they overcame adversity on Saturday at Lansdowne Road to ensure their season ended on a high.
