Player dispute sees League Two final delayed

THE AIB League Division two final between Terenure and Dolphin, scheduled for Lansdowne Road tomorrow, has been postponed to allow the IRFU investigate the eligibility of a Dolphin player used in the squad over the last two weeks.

Young Munster, pipped by Dolphin for promotion and subsequently defeated in the dying seconds of the league semi-final by the Cork club, objected to the selection of a Dolphin player in the last league game against Bective Rangers and later, against the Limerick side, in the semi-final.
