Wood gets the all-clear after surgery

KEITH WOOD has undergone surgery to correct a minor problem to an elbow.

The Ireland skipper returned from last week’s World Cup squad’s training camp in Bilbao with the ailment and had keyhole surgery on Saturday morning.

However, Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan was unworried about the injury and said it was only a minor setback.
